We met for the first time at Brennan’s in the summer of 2023. What started as a simple date over drinks led to hours of conversation.
What followed — from farmer’s markets to gallery walks, the big moments to the everyday — was a love that grew and deepened. Vast as the stars above, and the seas below.

Travel & Accommodations
Before you fly
Most guests will need an electronic visa and a small tourist levy of about $10 ahead of time. Take a look at the latest Bali entry rules, and note that passports need at least 6 months’ validity past the wedding date.
Flights
We recommend booking flights into Ngurah Rai International (DPS) early if you are flying internationally. Popular connections include Singapore (SIN), Hong Kong (HKG), and Seoul (ICN).
On Friday, July 9th, check-in at Alila starts at 3pm, with the Welcome Dinner starting around 6:30pm.
Stay
Everything for the wedding weekend will be at Alila, about 45 minutes from the airport. Once we have your itinerary, we’ll handle airport pickup and rides to and from the venue.
As a thank-you for making the trip, accommodations are covered for the wedding weekend and any hosted days on your invite. We’ll confirm the exact dates with your formal invite.

I’m coming in early to beat jet lag — what are some fun things to do?
A few of our favorites things to do in the region: the Botanic Gardens in Singapore, snorkeling in Labuan Bajo — or if you’re in Bali check out heritage & arts in Ubud, or the Sunset Kecak Dance at Uluwatu Temple.
Let us know your plans, so we can arrange transportation to your accommodations for the celebration weekend.
How do I get around the island?
All events for the wedding weekend are at Alila Villas Uluwatu. Transportation to and from the airport, and between your accommodations and the venue, will be provided — we’ll coordinate pickup once we have your itinerary. More in Travel & Accommodations.
Can I bring additional guests?
Because of limited venue capacity, we’re unable to accommodate guests not listed on the invitation.
What will the weather be like and what should I bring?
Bali in July will have warm, sunny days. It is in the middle of dry season, so we shouldn’t see much rain. Cooler winds from Australia will make it a touch milder than what you would expect from the tropics.
What to bring: light breathable fabrics, sunscreen, dramamine, and a light jacket. We’ll be sharing more about dress codes soon!
I can’t make it to Bali. Will there be other celebrations?
We’ll be hosting dinner receptions in both Jakarta (TBD) and St. Louis (Aug 28th, 2027) for those unable to make it to Bali. More details to follow.
